How to send a transfer from a Trezor device

Sending from a Trezor runs through Trezor Suite, with the transaction approved on the device. The flow is identical for a small verification dust transfer and a larger one.

Steps

1. In Trezor Suite, choose the account holding the funds and select Send.
2. Paste the destination address and verify the first and last characters.
3. Confirm the asset/network matches the destination.
4. Enter the amount — tiny for a verification test transfer.
5. Set or review the network fee; raise it if the network is congested.
6. Unlock the Trezor and verify the address and amount on the device screen before approving.
7. Approve on the device to broadcast, then track it to the required confirmations.

Avoiding mistakes

• Verify the address on the device — it's your defense against clipboard-swap malware.
• Match the network end to end; wrong-network sends are the top cause of lost funds.
• Don't underpay the fee. Confirmation timing depends on the network.
