How to send a transfer from Exodus

Sending from Exodus completes a test-transfer verification or moves funds generally. The steps are the same for a tiny dust amount and a larger transfer.

Steps

1. Open Exodus and select the asset holding your funds.
2. Choose Send.
3. Paste the destination address and verify the first and last characters.
4. Confirm the asset/network matches the destination.
5. Enter the amount — very small for a verification test transfer.
6. Review the network fee; raise it if the network is congested.
7. Confirm, then track the transaction to the required confirmations.

Avoiding mistakes

• Wrong network is the most common way funds are lost — match it end to end.
• Underpaying the fee can leave a transfer stuck.
• Confirmation timing is network-dependent; verification completes only once the transfer confirms on-chain.
