Silver Springs Shores is a census-designated place in Marion County, Florida, United States. The population was 24,846 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Ocala Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community, often referred to by locals as simply "the shores", serves primarily as a bedroom community for Ocala.
